Kashmir!!!!

The ultimate tourist destination. A beautiful nature blessed land
and the Crown Of India. A Shikara ride (boat ride) in the dal lake or a trekking adventure of the snow clad high mountains, everything basks in the glory of itself in Kashmir. And a quite economic tourism place too. Tour packages are available from 1000 INR to 100000 INR(approx. 250 to 25000 USD). It is the ideal place for all nature lovers n honeymooners. Blessed with a brilliant mountainous climate, with temperatures dipping to freezing points at times, Kashmir is very famous for its food and culture. Chole bhature on a local dhaba to the multi cuisine food in a 5 star hotel, everything here is so taste filled and yummy. And something very eye catching is that Kashmir inhabitants are rated among the most good looking and beautiful people in the world. I can bet the people who beleive in beauty with brains, that once you come here, you ll be so enthusiatic, looking at the people around that you wont wish to return. (Well, thats exactly what happened with me too when i went to that place). With nature blessing Kashmir with every ray of light, Kashmir has got awesome gardens with a mind blowing collection of flora (not to forget the enchanting flowers and attractive saffron flowers).

Gulmarg: the meadow of flowers, and an awesome place to visit(as you can see it in the picture) boasts
about its high altitude snowy mountains and has one of the best high altitude golf course in the world. A trip to this place can cost you from 1000 INR to 25000 INR including transportation and accomodation(approx 25 to 650 USD). But make sure that you have your bookings done right in advance. Coz the chill climate can even be inhospitable to you incase you dont find accomodation. This place can fit into the budget of all classes of people. For those who can unleash money out of their pockets without hesitation, Just take a cable car ride in gulmarg n get enthralled by the scenic view of Gulmarg coz i dont think you can have such a view in any other corner of the Earth. The dazzling high mountains bathed with snow, the temptingly large gardens with awesome collection of colourful and blissful flowers, the adventurous skiing and ice sports form the integral part of Gulmarg and is something i recommend you not to miss. But for people who cant spend lavishly, dont be discouraged. There is a lot of stuff for you there. Probably you ll enjoy more than the wealthy ones with the awesome gardens and scenic mountain view. Gulmarg is the abode of snow and the ultimate tourist destination to spend a part of your time relaxing, and enjoying the great piece of engineering and creativity by nature.

Shikara in Dal lake: This thing is seriously the SHAAN (pride) of the Heaven On Earth. Shikara's
are basically boats used for inland transportation on the numerous streams unning throughtout the state. Shikara's range from small tiny boats hand run by rafts to huge House Boats run by powerful engines. But to be honest Shikara's earn more revenue from tourism than transporting goods. They are the major tourist pullers, coz what better than a boat ride in a cold climatic lake(frozen most times of the year) with breath pulling scenary all around??? Every few hundred metres of ride in this lake, you ll find the scenary changing drastically n every scene of it better than the previous one. A few dollars, may be 5 or 10, thats what you might spend in this trip. Numerous water sports are also available in the Dal lake. Surfing and canoeing to White water rafting and the great Himalayan ride, everything in an around Dal lake is always fully occupied by numerous tourists who feel amazingly relaxed after reaching this place. This is the perfect place for the youth who want excitement and thrill in their life alongwith beauty and serenity. And not to forget the honeymooners for whom this is the ideal place who also require privacy and few moments of silence along with the youthful excitement and thrill. There are numerous markets around this lake where you can find the traditional stuff that Kashmir is famous for, especially the Pathani Kurtha Pajama and its turban. And after your fantastic Shikara ride dont forget to taste the Kashmiri Kaaba(tea), you ll find the tea fantasticly refreshing.
